Whether you are just starting out with your DSLR, need to improve your technique, or simply want to rekindle your passion for photography there is a workshop to suit your needs. All workshops are on a 1:1 basis, I work entirely with you. If you dont see a photography course that fits your needs, just ask, I can tailor one for you. If its a days tuition your looking for, I can travel to your home, calibrate your monitor install Elements and do the photographic and editing tuition there.To recieve a workshop folder showing all the workshops and image examples just email your home/office address, all contact information is held securely and not shared with with any third parties. Workshops operate between October and April in the UK and May to September as residential workshops from our home in France. Details about the French workshops are posted around January. The Lake District and France are perfect locations for fine tuning your camera skills, whether your quite new at digital photography, looking for a new direction in photography or just wanting a short photographic holiday break. The workshops are based on 1:1 tuition in digital photography, Photoshop CS3 or Elements, framing or creating gallery wrapped canvas prints. By the end of a workshop you take home a 700x600mm framed fine art print or a luxury leather portfolio album, complete with around 20 images from your workshop. If you are considering moving into the digital era from film, I can
loan you, free of charge, a Canon DSLR, along with Canon L.series
lenses and accessories. Both locations offer differing styles of photography, from landscape to city life to medieval village complete with Chateau. As with all the workshops I run, learning to use the camera controls is only one part of it, its equally as important to understand why some images work more than others, whether its documentary, still life, landscape, or fine art.
Should your partner or friend want to accompany you then its not a problem, should they want to participate in a workshop then a small surcharge is added to cover the extra material costs. Although accommodation is not included in the Lake District workshops I can arrange it for you, The pdf and web site contains links to first class bed & breakfast that can take online bookings. Included in the cost of the Lake District workshops are lunches and refreshments, transport from Carlisle to all the photography locations, all materials for printing and framing, and a framed fine art print or gallery wrapped canvas. the French workshops include residential accommodation in our three bedroomed town house.
