TAKING YOU FROM IMAGE CONCEPT TO FINE ART PRINT

I run hand framed, fine art photography workshops  in Grimsby UK, Landscape Workshops in  Scotland and Cumbria and photo tours in France. The tuition on all my workshops is on a 1:1 basis, this allows in-depth tuition in framing, photography & photoshop.  All my workshops produce either fine art portfolios, framed fine art prints or large format fine art photo books of true book store quality. Each workshop is tailored to the individual and explores all aspects of creative image making, from still life to architecture. Creating quality books means giving thought to text, cover design, image layout, book theme, you have to make your book shout from the bookshelves. Creating images for a purpose teaches you about creative use of the camera, subject identification and why to set the camera controls on specific settings.

The framed fine art photography workshops includes the photography, post processing, mounting and framing. The mouldings are hardwoods such as Oak, Walnut, Ash etc. all are hand cut and guillotined for that perfect mitre, then hand waxed to highlight the natural grain. Waxing can range from limed oak to black grained. Frame sizes are approx 700x575mm. Fine Art Landscape Workshops in the Lake District now online and bookings are being taken, for workshops on the 16th October & 14th November 2010, both are for five nights. November workshop now fully booked

The French workshops & tours for this year (2010) are now full.

Next years French program (2011) will be online during October 2010
