PHOTOGRAPHY HOLIDAYS & WORKSHOPS
The 2010 season has now been finalized, 2009 was busy and the 2010 season has been extended. There is a new addition to the regular four night residential workshop holidays, a tour that takes us to the Atlantic coast and over the Pyrenees, close to the Spanish border towns. The tour is by car and creates lots of photographic opportunities en-route. Five days on tour with four overnight stops, then two relaxing days for editing and book creation, the tours are based on eight nights (nine days) Download the tour details THE FRENCH TOUR and download the French Residential details.THE NEW 2010 SEASON
What these residential workshops and tours do, is to give you greater understanding of photography and editing, ways of using the images to create your photographic library and yearly portfolio. The maximum number of photographers is two or one couple. The tour is a great way to see the parts of France, its landscapes and villages that you wouldn't normally see on a static photography holiday. We have regular photo stops and stop overnights in the Etap Group of Hotels. I drive and you sit back and enjoy the journey and experience. All accommodation and most meals are included in the price, the meals not included are lunch and evening meal on when on tour.
The skills covered will include book design and text layout, digital workflow, using lightroom and CS4, file optimization for printing, art editing and printing. We have regular stops for coffee and cakes, its a relaxed photographic holiday that will lift your skills in seeing, using photography, printing and editing. A maximum of two photographers or one couple, ensures personal tuition and discussion. My French home is located in the center of a typically French village, with the Chateau Bonneval situated just across the road. The house is around 300 years old and is a three story house complete with a courtyard garden ideal for those evening meals, wine and discussions.
